	Staff Robert Whitmer Owner/President Jensen Construction was established in the early 1900’s. It has earned a reputation for quality construction products both in the residential and commercial construction trades. It was because of this quality reputation that Robert Whitmer became the current President and major stockholder in 1998. Robert is a lifelong resident of Kewanee Illinois and comes from a firm construction background. His father owned and operated a plastering company. It is here that Robert learned that hard work; honesty and quality are essential to a successful business. These are the characteristics that Robert strives to provide to his clients on a day-to-day basis. Robert has also traveled all over the Midwest and Arizona as a Construction Superintendent. This experience has enabled him to relate to the field staff and the challenges they face. A sense of community is also important to Robert. Mike Terwilliger Vice-President of Field Operations Mike joined the Jensen Construction team in 2004 and has over 30 years of experience in the construction industry and he also holds an Illinois Home Inspector license. He recently relocated to Galva from Champaign, where he was the field representative for an architectural firm where he was primarily involved with projects for the University of Illinois. Previous to that, he had experience as a construction superintendent on projects ranging from small remodeling projects to a new elementary school, as the inspector for a Federal Courthouse project, and has worked as a carpenter on projects ranging from cabinetmaking to nuclear power plants. Lisa Whitmer CFO Lisa has been at Jensen Construction since April, 1999. Current job responsibilities include review of financial statements – working closely with the CPA and bookkeeper, bonding, as well as, marketing. Lisa is dedicated to promoting quality service and company growth at Jensen Construction. Maintaining a strong company team with highly qualified and dedicated personnel is one of her top priorities. Doug Peterson Project Manager/Estimator Doug has earned and Associate degree in Management and has been employed in the home center industry/outside sales for eight years prior to joining the Jensen Construction team in 2001. He has managed and estimated numerous residential and commercial projects each one with the same enthusiasm and sincerity. Mark Baughman Estimator/Draftsman Mark earned an Associates Degree in Drafting/Design from the College of DuPage in Glen Ellyn, IL. He has worked with a variety of design firms in the Chicago area. He resides in Kewanee with his wife and children. With Mark’s extremely high mechanical aptitude and attention to detail, he is a welcome member of our staff. Angie Giles Office Manager Administrative Project Manager Marketing Director Angie has been with Jensen Construction since 1999 and handles a wide variety of jobs for our firm. She oversees the daily tasks of the office and works closely with the project managers on all projects. As the administrative project manager, she handles all contracts, purchase orders and various paperwork for new jobs. During the bidding process, Angie distributes all prints, spec books, and keeps everyone updated with addendums and additional information. Angie resides in Kewanee with her 2 children, Jake & Jessie. Joan Clement Bookkeeper Joan has been with Jensen Construction since April, 2002. She came to Jensen’s with over 25 years of bookkeeping experience in a variety of fields including welding supplies, the banking industry, and an independent insurance agency. Joan handles Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and payroll. She works closely with the CPA to provide accurate financial data. Joan also helps with a variety of other duties wherever needed. Joan lives with her husband, Ken, and has a daughter Christine and granddaughter, Ella.
